Key data portal for the visualization of study progress data

The key data portal of the University of Stuttgart visualizes study progress data and thus supports the work of the Quality Development Unit (QE), program managers and deans of studies.

The key data portal uses the study data from C@MPUS, the campus management system of the University of Stuttgart, for detailed analyses at degree programme and module level.

The direct, visual presentation of the results in diagrams provides a simple overview of the data situation in the degree programmes and modules.

Possible applications

The key data portal provides support in the following areas:

  • Quality assurance and continuous improvement of teaching
  • Accreditation procedures
  • Evaluation of course-specific adjustments
  • Planning and adaptation of curricula
  • Analysis of combined study programs

Analysis and visualization of C@MPUS data

The key data portal offers two main areas of analysis:

  • Subject analysis: based on the successful or unsuccessful completion of a degree programme
  • Course of study analysis: based on performance attempts within the course of study

In order to be able to answer specific questions, the portal contains further, more detailed analysis options as well as various filter and setting options in each analysis area.

Access and introduction

A brief introduction is required to use the portal. This introduction and setting up access is carried out by the Quality Development Unit. From summer 2025, the key data portal will be available as an application in C@MPUS.

Are you a study program manager or dean of studies at the University of Stuttgart and would like to use the key data portal or do you have any other questions? Please contact the Quality Development Unit.

The key data portal was created as part of the "digit@L" project, which was funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education from 2021 to 2025.
