My Resource Management

App for processing booking requests and the rooms you manage. This is a key element of room and resource management in C@MPUS.

The My Room Management app is a key element of room and resource administration. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with this app before you read the instructions.

What can I use this for?

The My Resource Management app is a key element of room and resource management. You can use this app to manage your own rooms and their features, process booking requests and set the notification intervals for your rooms. Under the two tabs "My managed resources" and "Dates" you will find various room and resource management functions.

Functions

My managed resources

Under "My managed resources" you will find all the rooms that you manage in alphabetical order.

  • Room code: The short code for the room. This is devised from the room location. Click on the link to access the room's calendar.
  • Additional name: Detailed designation of the room.
  • Architect room no.: Original room number.
  • Street: The room address. Clicking on the link will take you to the building map, where the location of the room is marked with a red dot.
  • Organization: The number of the organizational unit that is stored as the room operator. Click on the number to access the operator's business card.
  • Contact person:
    • Change/add contact person: A administrator can be entered here as the contact person for the room.
    • Set notifications: The contact person receives messages and requests for the respective room and can accept or reject requests. The default setting ensures that the contact person receives an automatic daily report on the rooms they manage, in which all applications that have not yet been processed are listed.
      Click on the envelope icon. A notification window for the relevant people / e-mail opens for resource management. If a tick is set in the "Daily notifications" column, the assigned person receives a daily report on unprocessed applications. If the box is not checked, the person will only be informed of new applications.
    • Add people: You can also assign other available people to the room by ticking the relevant person or deleting the person assignment by clicking on the button with the red X.
  • My date enquiries: Here you can switch back and forth between the semesters and see whether or how many booking requests have been made for the respective room.

Dates:

By default, you will first see your own booking requests ("My date enquiries"). Depending on your authorization status, you can display "All dates", "Organizational dates", "Room adminstrator's dates" or "My unedited appointment requests".

  • Time: Date and time when the event will take place.
  • Event: The event number and the title of the event (subject).
  • Operator / Organization: The organization to which the event is assigned.
  • Course: Here you can specify whether the course is registered as a compulsory, elective or doctoral seminar (P/W/Dr). Next to this is an overview of how many participants the event currently has and had in the previous year (participants) and the number of jointly held events (according to Abh.).
  • Further information: Under further information you will find the applicants, any comments on the events and/or internal remarks that have been left and the authorization profile of the applicants.
