Mental Health First Aiders

Mental Health First Aiders at the University of Stuttgart provide confidential and straightforward support to employees who experience a mental health crisis.

Individual initiatives are essential steps toward building a healthy university environment. To ensure health remains a lasting priority, it’s crucial to consider potential health impacts in every decision.

Are you interested in receiving monthly insights, reminders, and follow-up offers on mindfulness?

Occupational medicine

Corporate doctors are available to address any health-related questions you may have concerning the workplace. Their work is grounded in occupational health and safety regulations. 

Exercise

Incorporate health-promoting exercises to train your fascia system into your daily work routine with the Strength Break exercise package.

Ergonomics

During a personalized team consultation on-site, we provide you and your colleagues with information on ergonomic practices, analyze your workspace, and demonstrate effective balancing exercises.

Each semester, new health courses are offered as part of the university’s continuing education program. Here, you can find a variety of offerings relating to stress management and mental health.

Psychosocial counseling and conflict counseling

We provide you with support in the form of advice, coaching or mediation for personal and organizational challenges in the workplace.

Addiction

Addiction in working life does not only affect employees at risk of addiction or suffering from addiction. Their superiors and colleagues also need support and advice in dealing with addiction. 

Reintegration in the workplace

After frequent or prolonged illness, we aim to support your reintegrationin the workplace, helping you return to health and work as quickly as possible.

Advice and events via Evermood

In cases of psychosocial stress, crises, or conflicts, you can access information through the Evermood platform and reach out to us or external contacts digitally, in person, or anonymously. 

Through Evermood, you can register free of charge for various digital events on mental health and personal development, in consultation with your supervisor and during working hours.
