As a module coordinator, you can create new examination planning objects (PPO) in the “My Modules” app. A corresponding examination date (PT) is created automatically.
Add Examination Planning Objects
Examination planning objects (PPO) are displayed in the “My Modules” app as a box with a black border. To create a new examination planning object, click on the green plus symbol with the link "Add Examination Planning Object" in the respective module. An empty box with a black border is created, which you can now edit.
For example, you can now enter examiners and authorized persons.
View and Change Exam Characteristics
Examination dates are created directly for the examination planning objects and updated during planning. They do not include a date and cannot be viewed by students.
You can display exam dates by clicking on the Display Examination Dates link within an examination planning object (PPO).
The linked exam number will take you to the exam date in the “(My) Exam Dates” app. The examination date can be entered there, providing you, as the module supervisor and study program manager, with an overview of all examination dates and their processing status.
Examiners and authorized persons can edit the exam characteristics in the My Exam Management - Exam Planning Service app.
Exam-relevant attributes, such as exam mode and duration, can only be modified during the designated processing period. The processing period is communicated to module coordinators via a circular email.
The examination mode and/or the examination duration for the coming semester can be changed using the editing pen.
Please ensure that the examination duration adheres to the permissible values:
- Oral examinations: Usually min. 20 minutes to max. 60 minutes
- Written examinations: Usually min. 60 minutes to max. 180 minutes
Click on the Save button to finalize the changes. This information will be printed in the module handbook PDF for the coming semester.
Add Examiners and Authorized Persons
You can search for and enter examiners and authorized persons using the green plus symbol and the add link. Please note that the registered individual can only access this examination if they have the necessary authorization.
Combi-Examinations
If an examination is planned and held jointly by several examiners as a “combined examination”, only one joint examination planning object (PPO) may be created. This can only be accessed by all examiners specified in the examination planning object (PPO), and other authorized persons.
Accordingly, only one examination date should be created for a “combined object”.
Term papers, research projects and semester projects
When creating an examination planning object (PPO) for a term paper or similar, select only one examiner at a time.
FAQs on Module Management
In order to see and use certain applications in C@MPUS, your authorizations must be recorded in C@MPUS. You can only access the relevant applications if your role(s) or authorization(s) are correctly recorded in C@MPUS. Please take a look at the overview of your authorizations in C@MPUS. There, you will find a list of the individual sections (rooms. examinations, courses, modules) and an overview of which roles have which authorizations. Then check whether the required authorizations have been entered correctly in the "Roles" app. If this is not the case, please contact the contact persons listed there to clarify your request.
