Communicating in a multilingual and multicultural team can be particularly difficult, especially if you are not working in your native language. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss common misunderstandings in teams and to develop skills to address them. In small groups and through role- plays, we will practice effective communication strategies for leading with a team in English.

After the workshop, you will be able to:
• Set clear expectations and know how to check your team’s understanding of those expectations
• Clarify misunderstandings that can result from a variety of circumstances
• Give and receive effective feedback (criticism and praise)
• Lead and manage meetings in English
• Soften requests when emailing and speaking
• Utilize key vocabulary related to human resources and management

Registration deadline: September 23th 2022
