What might sustainable construction look like in the future? Which options for visual implementation already exist today? This event will be addressing these questions as part of the Stuttgart Science Festival. Architecture and urban planning are an important scientific focus in Stuttgart. Representatives from Stuttgart universities will be discussing the challenges of building in the future and offering their different perspectives on this topic.
The evening will include the lecture "Design and construction: thinking differently in the digital age" by Prof. Achim Menges, head of the Institute for Computational Design and Construction, and speaker for the excellence cluster EXC 2120, IntCDC – Integrative Computational Design and Construction for Architecture, University of Stuttgart.
