In order to be able to apply for and receive financial help from your health insurer, your support and care needs must first be assessed by one of the health insurance’s evaluators (MDK).
The evaluators will visit you in your home to assess your care needs. In such situations, people often portray their situation as being more positive than it actually is. Because of this and its effect on the basement, people often don’t receive the financial help they need.
The university’s partner, the pme Familienservice, invites university students and employees to attend this free lecture by Gabriele Lenz, where you will receive the information you need to adequately prepare for the evaluation appointment.
