New image media at the University of Stuttgart

November 18, 2013, Nr. 92

“We Study the Future!”

The University of Stuttgart has taken a stance in the framework of its strategic external image: with a new image film and a new image brochure, the university is placing itself in a complex environment as a renowned research university with a leading position by international standards. The new media products with the programmatic collective title “We Study the Future!“ are geared at multipliers from science, business, politics and society and have been designed in German and English.

Dr. Hans-Herwig Geyer, Head of University Communication and Press Spokesperson: “The concept of the new image tandem is characterised by the visionary future orientation of research at the University of Stuttgart. In its texts and imagery the film and the brochure “We study the Future!“ also underline the permanently overlapping cooperation between the various faculties at the University as a guarantee for the success of the research and for the quality of the education. In so doing it was important to us to make the institutional overall identity of the university visible. Since only this integration of all scientific fields at the university in a joint profile enables complex solution approaches for the social challenges of the future.“

The new image products are designed jointly and complement each other in addressing the defined dialogue groups. Along with research achievements and reputation, the new media also focuses on integrating the university in a comprehensive network of extramural research institutes and commercial enterprises. The role of the university is underlined as a source of inspiration for one of the most economically prosperous regions in Europe.
