Leadership Program
Leadership and Diversity
A diverse world that does away with prejudice and discrimination has to rely on unbiassed communication. Yet conscious and unconscious biases affect our value judgements and communication when it comes to selection processes, working culture and group dynamics. The mindful leader therefore reflects on their cultural and communicative luggage and identifies the biases that guide their decisions and behavior as well as the behavior of others. In this workshop, leaders will develop strategies to deal with unconscious bias in the workplace through explanations, role-plays, case studies, and open discussions.
Topics:
- The Implicit Association Test (IAT)
- Global Leadership Styles – Local Preference
- Subconscious Bias in Team Member Selection
- Intercultural Dimensions in Team Communication
- Identifying Clashes and Mediating Them
